Nestled in the picturesque cool hills of Moneague, St. Ann, Clapham Primary has been a cornerstone of education in our community since 1918. For over a century, we have proudly served as a multigrade school, providing quality education to students from the surrounding communities of Rio Hoe, Clapham, Dalrumple Park, and Moneague.
Our intimate learning environment nurtures 55 bright young minds, many from families facing economic challenges. We believe that every child deserves access to excellent education regardless of their background, and we work tirelessly to create opportunities for success. Under the dedicated leadership of Headmistress Jody Somers, our school maintains high academic standards while fostering a supportive, family-like atmosphere.
At Clapham Primary, learning extends far beyond the classroom through our four dynamic clubs: Mathematics, Literacy, 4H, and Environmental Club. These programs allow our students to explore their interests, develop new skills, and become well-rounded individuals prepared for future success.
Our commitment to excellence is guided by our enduring motto: 'Together We Build; Apart We Fail.' This philosophy shapes everything we do, emphasizing collaboration, community support, and the power of working together toward common goals.
“Together We Build; Apart We Fail”
